
Area Sales Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and identify potential clients.
- Present and sell Gilco’s products and services effectively to potential customers, ensuring a clear value proposition.
- Negotiate and close contracts that align with company goals, maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful promotional strategies and materials.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions within CRM software.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Represent Gilco at trade shows and industry events to promote our offerings and expand our network.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales, ideally in a related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as required.
**Compensation**:
- A competitive base salary with an attractive commission structure, discussed during the interview.
- Performance-based incentives for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
**Working Conditions**:
- This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel to meet clients and attend key industry events.
