Associate, India

**We are looking for an Associate to join our India team and to be part of our growing footprint and presence in India.**

Business Sweden has a presence in India since 1996 and with a team of about 30 colleagues across our offices in New Delhi and Bangalore. Business Sweden has a unique mandate to help Swedish companies grow global sales and international companies invest and expand in Sweden. We do this through trade promotion and business advisory services. In practice, our consulting work is similar in type of assignments as large international strategy firms. We have the same analytical approach and methods, but our problem solving is dedicated to supporting the Swedish industry - management consulting with a higher purpose.
Our Associate plays an important role in project delivery and working project teams, alongside our experienced consultants and project managers. Associate will perform data analysis to identify economic and business trends relevant for our clients as well as supporting with analyses of the political and economic environment impacting international companies doing business in the market.

**Responsibilities and Work tasks**
- Collect and analyse data and present findings to team members and from time to time to clients
- Meet and interact with stakeholders ranging from clients, governmental agencies, colleagues and team members
- Help with specific tasks such as the arrangement and facilitation of business meetings and other support to our clients
- Carry out market research and conduct meaningful analysis that will enable clients to make strategy decisions on how to enter and/or expand in the market
- Work closely with our colleagues across 30+ global offices to delivery multi-market projects for Swedish companies

- Social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as passion for growing Sweden and an ability to handle new challenges

**Formal Qualifications**
- Higher academic degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Economics
- Analytical, adaptable, independent, hard-working and curious with good communication skills
- Prior professional work experience in consulting/ research is a strong merit
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is a requirement
- Knowledge of local language is a strong merit
