**Job Summary**:
The Logistics Air & Ocean Pricing Specialist is responsible for developing and managing air freight pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable pricing for our air cargo services. This role involves negotiating rates with carriers, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize pricing and cost management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Rate Negotiation**:

- Negotiate air freight rates with airlines, freight forwarders, and other partners.
- Secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for air cargo shipments.
- **Pricing Analysis**:

- Analyze market trends, cost structures, and competitor pricing.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with market conditions and company objectives.
- **Cost Management**:

- Monitor and control air freight costs to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate and optimize cost efficiencies within air freight operations.
- **Customer Quotes**:

- Prepare accurate and timely pricing proposals and quotations for customers.
- Ensure pricing is competitive and aligned with market conditions.
- **Contract Management**:

- Review and manage contracts with carriers and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and address any issues or discrepancies.
- **Data Management**:

- Maintain and update pricing databases and systems.
- Analyze historical data and generate reports to forecast future pricing trends.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Provide pricing insights and support to internal stakeholders.
- **Market Research**:

- Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting air freight pricing.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Address pricing-related issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in pricing and logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, CRM tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with global air freight markets and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, C.P.M.).
