Proelio Technologies provides comprehensive support functions, comprising dedicated teams for HR, Intake, QA, RCM, IT Support, and FP&A.

**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices to insurance companies, government agencies, and patients.
- Verify billing codes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer guidelines.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and rejections promptly to expedite payment processing.
- Review and process insurance claims, including electronic and paper submissions.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identify reasons for denials, and resubmit corrected claims as necessary.
- Collaborate with billing specialists and coding professionals to ensure accurate claim submissions.
- Conduct regular follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve unpaid claims and overdue invoices.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other parties regarding billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and account disputes.
- Educate patients on insurance coverage, payment options, and financial assistance programs.
- Adhere to healthcare regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and billing compliance standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
