Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Footwear Design**: Develop original and trend-forward women's shoe designs, including flats, heels, boots, and sandals, aligning with brand identity and market trends.
- **Pattern Creation**: Generate accurate 2D patterns from initial sketches, utilizing both hand-drawing and CAD software to create templates for various shoe components.
- **Prototyping**: Collaborate with sample makers to produce prototypes, refining patterns and designs based on fit, comfort, and aesthetic evaluations.
- **Material Selection**: Advise on appropriate materials, textures, and finishes, considering both design intent and manufacturability.
- **Production Support**: Provide technical specifications and pattern corrections to manufacturers, ensuring designs are accurately translated into final products.
- **Trend Analysis**: Conduct research on emerging fashion trends, materials, and technologies to inform design and pattern development.
- **Quality Control**: Oversee the quality of patterns and prototypes, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in women's footwear design and pattern cutting.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Adobe Illustrator) and traditional pattern-making techniques.
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with designers, sample makers, and manufacturers.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
