**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tooling Management**: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling equipment used in shoe manufacturing, including molds, dies, and cutting tools.
- **Tooling Development**: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop new tooling solutions that meet production requirements and enhance product quality.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all tooling adheres to quality standards and specifications. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to minimize defects and downtime.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve tooling-related issues promptly to minimize production delays. Work closely with maintenance staff and production teams to address and rectify problems.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage tooling inventory, including ordering and stocking of spare parts and new tools as needed.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for tooling process improvements and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance, repairs, and modifications. Prepare and update documentation related to tooling processes and procedures.
- **Training**: Train and support production staff on proper tooling usage and maintenance procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 4 years of experience in tooling management within the footwear industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of tooling design and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using tooling equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- **Additional Requirements**: Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
