**Job Title: Commis 1 Chef - Continental & Multi-Cuisine**
**Location**: Gurugram, Haryana

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook dishes from a **Continental menu** (pastas, steaks, grills, sauces, salads, soups, etc.) with high consistency.
- Assist in cooking items from other **cuisines** such as Indian, Asian, or Fusion as needed.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation styles, ensuring consistent taste and visual appeal.
- Handle mise-en-place and prep work for service.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Coordinate with Sous Chef and CDP for smooth operations during service hours.
- Ensure freshness of ingredients and assist in inventory/stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and support junior staff when required.
**Requirements**:
- **Minimum 2-3 years of experience** as a Commis 1 or equivalent role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of **Continental cooking techniques** - grilling, sautéing, baking, roasting, etc.
- Exposure to **multi-cuisine menus** including Indian, Pan-Asian, or Fusion will be an added advantage.
- Ability to follow recipes, portioning standards, and plate with precision.
- Understanding of **kitchen hygiene**, food safety protocols, and proper food storage.
- Energetic, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary diploma or certification preferred, but not mandatory.
