Job Title: Commis Chef - Continental Cuisine

Location: Siddha Wellness Village

Reports to: Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine

Job Summary:
As a Commis Chef, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality Continental cuisine dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. Your attention to detail, creativity, and teamwork will ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook menu items to perfection, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.

2. Assist senior chefs in menu planning, food preparation, and plating.

3. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards.

4. Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients.

5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.

6. Develop new recipes and menu ideas.

7. Participate in kitchen training and development programs.

8. Maintain knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients.

**Requirements**:
1. 1-2 years of experience as a Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.

2. Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.

3. Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.

4. Excellent knife skills, food presentation, and plating.

5. Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

6. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Familiarity with kitchen management software and systems.

8. Food Safety and Hygiene certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in wellness-focused or health-conscious cuisine.

2. Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients.

3. Familiarity with international cuisine.
