**Job Title Senior / CAD/BIM Designer - Electrical**

**Department Electrical**

**Job Summary**
- Responsible for creating and modifying electrical Building Information Models that will be used to coordinate and install electrical equipment.
- Perform duties with minimum supervision, take responsibility for own work produced to a high standard and ensure outputs meet the required standards and meet agreed deadlines.
- Minimum 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in Industrial Complexes project, worked in Design / Consultancy Organisations

**Responsibilities**
- The BIM Designer shall possess the following skill sets
- Use Revit and AutoCAD for electrical system design.
- Proven ability to Model electrical equipment / systems such as Panels, Transformer, Generators, VFDs, Bus duct, Light fixtures ,Power sockets, Cable tray, conduit in 3D for accurate representation in MEP co-ordination models.
- Assist in MEP coordination process and produce field installation drawings.
- Knowledge in sheet creation and Quantity takeoff from Revit
- Knowledge in Navis works to create clash report
- Creation of Revit families is an added advantage
- Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models
- Clash detection and clash resolution
- Create template as per project specifications/client requirement
- Support Space Management coordination
- Support design teams with the creation of 3D visualizations
- Miscellaneous CAD/Revit Drafting
- Self-check all work and check the work of others as required.
- Create as-built and Record drawings
- Archiving of record drawings
- Inter-discipline Coordination
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ensure that Company standards and procedures are followed including Department QA/QC Procedures
- Produce 2D CAD drawings and / or 3D models
- Create non-editable electronic renditions of drawings
- Working knowledge in lighting software such as Dialux
- Drawing Extraction, Navisworks Manage, Simulate & Clash resolution.
- AutoCAD Design review
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge in REVIT families creation will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Tray Sizing, Lighting Design, Cable schedule preparation will be an added advantage
- Other 3D tools knowledge is added advantage
- The ability to understand engineering mark-up drawings and familiarity with discipline symbols
- Provide support to or work with Other Disciplines as instructed
- Contribute to the development of effective working relationships are established and maintained with all stake holders.
- Comply with the Company’s Quality Assurance procedures and assist in the review of standards and procedures to promote a continuing improvement in the service provided to the company’s clients;
- Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

**Qualification / License / Certification Years of Experience**
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering 4 - 8 Years: Designer / 8-15 Years: Sr. Designer

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
