This process is crucial for ensuring that healthcare services are covered and will be reimbursed by the payer.

**Job Title: Process Associate**

**Department: Payment Posting**

**Job Location: Mohali**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately post and reconcile payments received from various sources, including insurance companies, patients, and government payers.
- Verify the accuracy of payment amounts, adjustments, and denials.
- Enter payment data into the billing system and ensure all information is correctly recorded.
- Analyze remittance advice or Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify discrepancies, underpayments, or overpayments.
- Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Identify denied claims and understand the reasons for denials.
- Work closely with the denial management team to address and resolve claim denials, ensuring maximum reimbursement.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of patient received against posted payments.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash reconciliation.
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
