- Job Description:
Diploma in Mechanical engineer with 5+ years of experience in Lab Technician experienceOrganize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.Explore and propose creative solutions to prototype based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.Operate and maintain mechanical lab equipment like Braider, Thermal Die Welder, Hot Air Oven, Tip shaping equipment, CNC Milling M/c, CNC lathe, Laminator, basic measuring equipment etc as per the requirements.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good EHS practices.Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.Communicate project status to project teams.Maintain the Good Lab Practices, Good Documentation Practices and 5S in the lab.Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
