We are looking for a Snowflake Solution Architect to join our team remotely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzing and understanding business requirements. Working together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
- Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture that meets the needs and requirements of the stakeholders.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution. Identifying potential technology solutions.
- Creating a solution prototype and setting the collaboration framework for the development team.
- Analyzing and evaluating the technology environment, enterprise specifics, and project constraints.
- Developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices.
- Planning and controlling the integration of the new solution into the existing ecosystem.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution.
- Designing and planning the implementation of the chosen solution.
- Translating the suggestions of stakeholders and business analysts into technical language.
- Ensuring that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the solution and making necessary adjustments.
- Act as a mentor to the delivery team. Providing technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Act as a trustful consultant to business teams.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the solution and its components.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Snowflake architecture, administration, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Relevant experience of building Data Lake or Data Warehouse.
- Experience with data modeling, warehouse design.
- Demonstrated experience in leading data warehouse projects from conception to implementation.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Azure platform or another Microsoft solution.
- Relevant certifications will be a plus.
