Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, monitor, and optimize the Snowflake environment, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
- Implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, including data modeling, database design, and query optimization.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
- Manage Snowflake roles, users, and permissions to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Leverage enterprise LDAP accounts to manage access control and permissions within each individual product.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Snowflake configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues, providing technical support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of queries, stored procedures, and data models.
- Provide technical solutions for disaster recovery, backup, data sharing, and data replication.
- Stay up-to-date with Snowflake features and capabilities, evaluating and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Snowflake with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Assist in capacity planning and cost management for Snowflake resources.
- Work on critical incidents and user service requests and be responsible for SLA adherence, tracking, and reporting.
- Train and mentor team members on Snowflake best practices and usage.

Qualifications:

- SnowPro Advanced Administrator (required).
- 3+ years of experience in Snowflake administration or data engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake's query performance tuning.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Experience with disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
