Data Architect – Cloud

Location: Remote Job Type: Part-time What You'll Do: Design scalable and modern data architectures using cutting-edge cloud platforms and AI/ML tools.
Lead technical delivery as a hands-on architect and SME, guiding both clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, architecture strategy, and execution roadmap.
Build and modernize data ecosystems using tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Drive client workshops, solution presentations, and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support pre-sales activities and contribute to thought leadership across the data and AI landscape. What We're Looking For:7+ years of experience in data architecture across multiple domains.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data warehousing/lakehouse tech.
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, Gen AI tools, and agentic AI concepts is a big plus.
Experience with data quality, cataloging, lineage, MDM, and performance tuning.
Strong communication and presentation skills – comfortable speaking with both engineers and executives.
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture methodologies and modernization of legacy systems.
Bonus Points For: Experience with virtualization platforms and modern programming languages.
Background in architecting solutions that address security, scalability, and performance.
Ability to turn ambiguity into actionable architecture and vision.
