**Role Summary**:
We are seeking a Snowflake architect with strong SQL experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting life sciences analytical use cases by querying and analysing a wide range of healthcare data sources, including claims, lab results, electronic medical records (EMR), and other real-world data. Your expertise in SQL and data analysis will contribute to enhancing our understanding of healthcare trends, optimising patient care, and driving evidence-based decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Query and analyse **large volumes of healthcare data from diverse sources, including claims, lab results, EMR, and real-world data sets, to support life sciences analytical use cases.
- **Design **and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and transform data for analysis and reporting purposes. Work with a variety of file formats, including Parquet, CSV, TSV, and PSV.
- **Collaborate **with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals, to identify and define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- **Clean **, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process.
- **Develop **and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data mappings, and data lineage, to ensure data transparency and accessibility.
- **Create **visually compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent real-world experience
- 3 years of experience in healthcare and having in-depth knowledge and working with real-world data, including claims, lab results, electronic medical records (EMR), and other clinical real-world data. 5+ years of experience designing and developing advanced SQL queries on 500 million record data sets in RDBMS, RDS, and AWS Redshift.
