The Restaurant Captain is responsible for managing a section of the restaurant and ensuring that the highest levels of service are delivered to guests. The Captain acts as a lead for the waitstaff and assists in daily operations, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service.

**Guest Service**:

- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ensure guests are seated promptly and given menus.
- Take and process orders accurately, and ensure that special requests are handled appropriately.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including wines and beverages, as per guests' preferences.
- Ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Address guest concerns or complaints, and escalate unresolved issues to management.

**Operations**:

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned station and the restaurant floor.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and delivery of orders.
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for service, including table settings and checking mise en place.
- Assist in inventory management of food and beverage stock.

**Cash and Billing**:

- Handle bill presentations and process payments using the restaurant’s payment systems.
- Maintain accuracy in billing and ensure correct charges for guests.
- Handle any billing discrepancies or queries with efficiency.

**Sales and Upselling**:

- Promote special offers, events, and upsell premium items, including beverages and desserts.
- Keep up-to-date with menu changes, special promotions, and upcoming events to inform guests

**Staff Supervision**:

- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on service standards and procedures.
- Lead and motivate waitstaff to provide excellent customer service.

**Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferably in fine dining).

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform other restaurant duties as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
