JOB TITLE. : Catalogue Executive

JOBTYPE: Permanent-Full Time

LOCATION : Commercial Street Bangalore

Reporting to : Head of Marketplace

Position Overview : A Catalog Executive plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining product catalogs for an organization.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of product information management systems.

The Catalog Executive collaborates with various departments, such as marketing, sales, and e-commerce, to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information is available to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Catalog Management: Create, update, and maintain product catalogs using specialized software or content management systems. Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information, including product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing. Classify and categorize products according to predefined standards and guidelines. Monitor and manage product data quality, making necessary corrections and improvements. Data Entry and Validation: Collect product information from various sources, such as suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams. Enter and validate product data, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies. Content Creation and Enhancement: Write compelling product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits. Source or create high-quality product images and videos for visual representation. Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize product content for search engine visibility and customer engagement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure timely and accurate launch of new products and promotions. Coordinate with the sales team to provide necessary product information and support their efforts. Collaborate with e-commerce teams to ensure the accurate display and presentation of products on online platforms. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements for product information. Regularly review and update catalog templates and guidelines to maintain consistency. Conduct periodic quality checks to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies.

Qualifications and Skills: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

2. Prior experience in catalog management, product data management, or e-commerce is desirable.

3. Proficiency in using catalog management software or content management systems.

4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

6. Good understanding of product categorization and classification.

7. Familiarity with digital marketing practices and search engine optimization (SEO) is a plus.

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

9. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
