Machine Shop Production Supervisor in machinery manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the production process, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. They manage the workforce, schedule production, maintain equipment, and implement improvement processes to meet production goals and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Management**: Oversee machinists, technicians, and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

- **Scheduling and Planning**: Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely completion of work and efficient resource allocation.

- **Production Efficiency**: Monitor and improve production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies for increased output and reduced waste.

- **Quality Control**: Ensure products meet quality standards, identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions.

- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.

- **Equipment Maintenance**: Monitor equipment performance, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs to ensure optimal equipment availability.

- **Continuous Improvement**: Implement lean manufacturing principles, analyze production data, and identify areas for improvement.

- **Communication and Collaboration**: Work effectively with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to achieve production goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

- May involve programming and setting up CNC machines.
- May be responsible for inventory management.
- May develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- May be involved in training new employees.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in a machine shop environment, preferably in machinery manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of CNC machines and related equipment.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
