**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate various types of hobbing machines (e.g., conventional, CNC) to produce gears, splines, and other intricate profiles as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and production sequences.
- Select, install, and adjust appropriate hobs, cutters, and workholding devices.
- Calculate and set machine parameters such as feed rates, speeds, and depths of cut.
- Monitor machine operation during the hobbing process to detect malfunctions or deviations.
- Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gear tooth vernier, run-out gauges).
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot common machine issues or part defects.
- Perform routine maintenance on hobbing machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
- Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, downtime, and quality control data.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with supervisors and quality control personnel to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
