**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Media Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.

Pitch stories, press releases, and media opportunities to enhance company visibility.

Content Creation:
Develop press releases, media kits, speeches, and other communication materials.

Collaborate with the content team to align PR strategies with editorial goals.

Event Coordination:
Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, and company events.

Oversee logistics and ensure events align with the company's image and objectives.

Reputation Management:
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment to identify and address potential PR issues.

Develop crisis communication plans and manage responses when needed.

Campaign Management:
Create and implement PR campaigns to promote the media house’s shows, publications, and initiatives.

Work closely with marketing and social media teams to amplify campaigns across platforms.

Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications.

Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Performance Tracking:
Analyse the impact of PR efforts and generate reports on key metrics.

Use insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in the media industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong networking abilities and relationship-building skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR software.

Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.

A team player with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
