Role Overview As a Quality Check Lab Assistant at Durable Polymers, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process production, and final products meet stringent quality and safety standards. This role involves hands-on testing, reporting, equipment handling, and coordination with third-party inspectors and internal departments. Key Responsibilty Areas - **Sampling and Testing of Raw Materials**: Test PU foam, silicone, and fiber for compliance with required specifications. - **In-Process and Final Product Quality Checks**: Conduct inspections during and after production to ensure quality standards. - **Defect Tagging and Rejection Documentation**: Identify and label defects; maintain detailed records of rejections and non-conformities. - **Lab Equipment Handling and Calibration**: Operate, clean, and calibrate lab instruments like flammability testers, tensile testers, etc. - **Test Report Generation and Documentation**: Prepare accurate and timely test records for audits and internal reference. - **Escalation of Non-Conformance**: Report any deviation or quality issues immediately to the QC Lead or Manager. - **RITES and Third-Party Inspection Support**: Assist in coordination, documentation, and preparation during inspections. - **Cylinder and LOT Status Management**: Track testing and segregation status of gas cylinders and LOTs for traceability. - **Test Equipment Upkeep and Indents**: Ensure equipment is functional; raise indents for consumables and replacements as required. - Education: Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field - Experience: Minimum 2 years - Skills: - Operation of lab testing instruments - Quality documentation & report generation - MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word) - Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability Working Conditions - Lab-based role within the manufacturing plant - Coordination with shopfloor and QA teams - Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to lab safety protocols How to Apply - Updated Resume - Copies of any relevant quality certifications or training (if applicable) Subject Line: "Application - Quality Check Lab Assistant | [Your Full Name]" Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
