Drive sales process, sourcing and operations for Project Logistics (freight forwarding) towards achievement of business target
- Have a focused approach on sales solution design to focus on project movement, develop end to end solutions for BCOs in different Industry verticals for odd dimension cargo (ODC) movement projects
- Drive collaboration with the group organizations as well as internal Business Units to develop new products & business opportunities.
- Assure delivery needs of customers cost effectively and efficiently and ensure coordination of entire process of logistics (Shipping, warehousing, transportation and customer service activities).
- Engage with vessel owners and agents, ODC transporters, CHAs and other carriers
- Budget preparation of volumes, gross profit & revenue for Project Logistics
- Monitor receivables & growth of contractual customers
- Develop inbound and outbound net work
- Able to understand and sell across portfolio, integrating CFS/ ICD/ Port portfolios and able to sell as one
- Measure & circulate monthly performance & significant business updates, along with periodic forecasts to key stakeholders
- Work with the larger sales team to promote Project logistics
- Engage with large BCOs for their other businesses and work with internal stakeholders for integrated solutions
- Sharing specific intelligence, market insights & best practices, represent business in relevant Global / Regional conferences & other events.
- Identify and assess risks associated with the business. Plan and execute risk mitigating procedures.
