**Position Overview**:
Provides day-to-day technical support to employees and system / end users for infrastructure, internal systems and desktop hardware and software. Addresses and resolves failures, problems and questions relating to the operation of workstations, laptops, websites, software, peripherals, telephony, mobile devices and other equipment. Ensures optimal operation and business continuity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leads a team responsible for assisting users over the phone and electronically in solving problems related to hardware, software, networks and peripherals.
- Ensures client service levels and performance metrics are met by team.
- Directs team to follow and comply with pre-established helpdesk policies, practices and procedures.
- Conducts career development, planning and performance of team.
- Takes ownership of support issues, engaging other internal / external expertise as required.
- Maintains relationships with vendors.
- Resolves client escalations where appropriate.

**Required Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Prior management experience not required but may have informally led teams.
