What you’ll do at Ather:

- Responsible for test lab execution on chambers and rigs such as Vibration shaker, CMV chamber, Environmental chamber, Scientific chamber, Walkin chamber, Wheel coupled dyno, Salt spray chamber, UTM, IP64, IP65, IP67, and high-pressure water test.
- Understanding of EV battery systems and testing standards, and methodologies.
- Ready to support the reliability testing team on parts movement, inspection & functional checks.
- Ensure Electrical component level and mechanical component level test setup & assembly.
- Prepare all the prerequisites to start the testing & data monitoring.
- Maintain logs and tracking sheets for all the rigs and chambers and report to the manager.
- Ensure preliminary root cause analysis on the failures parts/components in the rigs and chambers and give details of the failures observed to Engineers.
- Effective pre and post-test inspection with comprehensive reporting of failure.

Here’s what we are looking for:

- Participate in daily stand-up meetings for updates and call out dependencies and risks.
- Work out 2 weeks tasks in a Sprint planning meeting and review the status of planned tasks in Sprint retrospective meeting.
- Participate and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to improve skill sets in key areas.
- Look into Lab infrastructure maintenance and Keep track of lab equipment.
- Adhering safety guidelines.
- Responsible for managing the technicians to ensure that the necessary result is achieved.
- In charge of lab rigs, chamber activity, and maintenance.
- Responsible for gathering product requirements for testing Rigs and chambers (e.g., functionalities, safety standards).
- Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes.
- Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards.

What you’ll bring to Ather:

- Diploma / BE / B-Tech in mechanical / electrical engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years of thorough experience in testing of vehicle or battery or relevant areas.
