Job Title: Shift Incharge

Job Description
The Shift Incharge will be responsible for overseeing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring that all activities are aligned with company policies and objectives. The Shift Incharge will coordinate with team members to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure the safety and efficiency of the work environment. The role involves managing staff schedules, conducting training, resolving operational issues, and reporting performance metrics to upper management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the team during the shift, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor production processes and workflow to meet output goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess operational efficiency.
  • Handle any personnel issues, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain shift reports, documenting key activities, production statistics, and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and promote a collaborative environment.

Skills And Tools Required

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of production processes and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools and reporting software.
  • Basic technical skills to understand machinery and equipment used in the production process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for reporting and analysis.

Prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. A relevant degree or certification in management or industrial engineering can be an advantage.
