POSITION -MATERIAL MANAGEMENT & COSTING
- Verify and validate new footwear samples, focusing on length, size, width, and overall shape.
- Monitor and manage material consumption.
- Serve as the final authority for reviewing and releasing technical specifications for production.
- Coordinate with production units to ensure a clear understanding and proper implementation of specifications.
- Check the fitting and functionality of various footwear components and assemblies.
- Oversee die cutting and pad printing die verification for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate grading, printing, and other commercialization activities.
- Ensure all new articles are submitted for required testing and meet established quality standards before release.
- Maintain and manage the phase-in/phase-out list of materials.
- Create purchase orders (PO) for samples.
- Coordinate with vendors for materials, free-of-cost (FOC) items, swatches, and swatch library management (including color references and rexine materials).
