**Key Responsibilities**

Guest Interaction: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, manage reservations, and assign tables to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Staff Management: Supervise and train waitstaff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the menu and service standards. Handle daily team member relations and encourage problem-solving through proper training.

Service Oversight: Monitor the dining area to ensure that guests are being served promptly and that service quality meets the restaurant's standards. Address any customer complaints or issues that arise during service.

Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, special requests, and dietary needs to ensure timely and accurate service.

Maintaining Standards: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, tableware, and overall ambiance. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is typically required.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and staff effectively.

Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and ensure high service standards.

Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, addressing guest concerns and operational challenges promptly.
