Restaurant Captain – Guest Experience & Service Leadership
SAPA Bakery, a unit of Kaffeeklatsch Hospitality LLP, is growing our team We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Captain to join us at our Gokulam location in Mysore.
About the Role
As a Restaurant Captain, you will lead the front-of-house service team, ensuring smooth operations and memorable guest experiences. This role is ideal for individuals with strong hospitality skills who can combine leadership, service excellence, and attention to detail in a dynamic café-restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant floor operations and coordinate with service staff
- Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained
- Manage table allocations, reservations, and guest flow during service hours
- Train, guide, and motivate service team members to deliver professional and efficient service
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the dining area in line with hygiene and safety protocols
- Work closely with the kitchen and bakery teams for smooth order execution and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related issues promptly
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Captain, Team Leader, or Senior Service professional in hospitality or restaurant operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest-handling skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during peak service hours
- A positive attitude and passion for hospitality and guest engagement
- Attention to detail with a focus on service quality and teamwork
