Position Overview:
As a Hotel Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for assisting guests in booking hotel accommodations and managing their reservations. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with guests, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth reservation process. You will work closely with the hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reservation Management**:
- Assist guests in selecting appropriate rooms based on their preferences, availability, and budget.
- Input reservation details accurately into the hotel's computer system, including guest information, dates, room types, and special requests.
- Coordinate room assignments, upgrades, and changes as needed.
- Process cancellations, modifications, and refunds following the hotel's policies and procedures.
**Customer Service**:
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Offer recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Resolve any issues or complaints regarding reservations, billing, or accommodation, escalating matters to the appropriate departments when necessary.
**Collaboration**:
- Collaborate closely with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and sales, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the hotel staff to stay informed about room availability, rates, and special promotions.
- Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests with reservations.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, including guest information, special requests, and payment details.
- Generate reports on reservation statistics, occupancy rates, and revenue for management review.
- Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and room rates to provide accurate information to guests.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the hotel's operational requirements.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
