**Job Description - Safety Supervisor**

**Position Title**: Safety Supervisor
**Department**: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
**Location**: Mumbai / Pan India
**Experience Required**: 2-5 Years (or as per requirement)
**Qualification**:

- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / HSE
- B.Sc / B.Tech in any discipline with safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA preferred)
**Salary Range**: ₹18,000 - ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and certification)
**Reporting To**: HSE Manager / Project Safety Head

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, company standards, and statutory safety regulations at site.
- Conduct daily **toolbox talks**, safety briefings, and awareness programs for workers and staff.
- Perform routine **site inspections**, **hazard identification**, and **risk assessments**; ensure all corrective actions are implemented.
- Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and unsafe acts; submit detailed reports with **root cause analysis** and preventive measures.
- Ensure proper use of **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)** by all site personnel.
- Deliver **safety induction** and job-specific safety training sessions for new and existing employees.
- Maintain and update all safety documentation including:

- Site safety inspection reports
- Safety meeting records
- Training attendance sheets
- Incident logs and safety observation reports
- Coordinate with **project managers, site engineers**, and department heads to implement safety practices.
- Report site safety performance, issues, and improvements to the **HSE Manager** on a regular basis.
- Take strict action on **non-compliance** with safety procedures and enforce disciplinary measures when needed.
- Continuously monitor work activities and site conditions to **identify and eliminate hazards**.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Sound knowledge of construction safety practices, OSH standards, and local safety regulations.
- Good observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle incident response and conduct safety drills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with workers and site teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report formatting (for safety logs & data).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
