**Job description for safety supervisor**
- Support the development of OHS policies and SOP.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, heavy machines etc.)
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Initiate and organize OHS and fire training of employees and workers. And Daily basis conduct Toolbox Talk training and keep maintain record.
- Inspect plant and site premises check workers and staff’s safety PPE’s (personal protective equipment) wearing or not.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Stop any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Record and investigate accident/ incidents first aid to determine causes
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
- Knowledge of Emergency situation and mock drill.
- Daily basis round all over site and inspect hazards and resolve safety problems.
- Maintain first aid box and fire extinguisher record.
- Implement of work permit system.
- Maintain site safety boards and safety equipment’s.

**Requirements and skills**
- 1 Year to 2 years’ experience as **safety Supervisor**:

- In depth knowledge of legislation occupational health and safety procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Exel, PPT knowledge of safety management information systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
- diploma in safety field is preferred (ADIS) advance diploma in industrial safety. (MSBTE)

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Fort, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Diploma (required)
