**Real Estate Site Safety Supervisor**

**Location**: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (across various real estate project sites)

**Reports To**: Project Manager / Site Engineer

**Job Type**: Full-Time on site.

**Age

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Implement and Monitor Safety Protocols**: Enforce all company health and safety policies and procedures, along with national and local regulations (e.g., BOCW Act 1996).
- **Conduct Regular Inspections and Audits**: Perform daily site inspections and regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
- **Risk Management**: Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) for all construction activities and implement corrective measures immediately.
- **Incident Management**: Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- **Training and Awareness**: Organize and conduct safety induction training for new workers, daily toolbox talks, and other safety awareness programs (e.g., working at heights, electrical safety, fire safety).
- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management**: Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of all necessary PPE, conducting spot checks for compliance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed and accurate records of safety procedures, inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and other required safety documentation as per statutory requirements.
- **Coordination and Communication**: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives on all safety-related issues. Act as the point of contact with all.
- **Emergency Preparedness**: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular mock drills (e.g., fire safety, evacuation).

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Education**: Any graduate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) or a related field, along with a recognized Diploma/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety or EHS certification.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Safety Officer or Supervisor, preferably within the real estate or high-rise building construction industry in Mumbai.
- **Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, local building codes, and Indian safety regulations/laws (BOCW Act, Factories Act).
- **Skills**:

- Strong observational, analytical, and hazard identification skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and **leadership skills,** with the ability to communicate in local languages spoken by the workforce.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

This role requires a safety-conscious individual dedicated to promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring a hazard-free environment for all site personnel.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,606.28 per month
