To support our growing student base, we are hiring an experienced and tech-savvy **Academic Counsellor**.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Counsel prospective students about course options and career opportunities in IT.
- Understand individual student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Conduct career guidance seminars, orientation sessions, and follow-ups.
- Maintain student records and manage the admission process end-to-end.
- Collaborate with faculty and training teams to stay updated on course offerings.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional campaigns.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- **MBA in Marketing or Sales** with prior experience in academic counselling or education industry will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in academic counselling or a similar student-facing role.
- Strong understanding of IT courses and career paths (e.g., Programming, Software, Networking, Data Analytics).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
- Goal-oriented with strong follow-up and organization skills.
- Familiarity with CRM or student management systems is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Background in EdTech or Computer Education industry.
- Awareness of trends in IT education and placement needs.
- Proficiency in English and local languages for smooth student communication.
