Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and program laser cutting machines (e.g., Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, etc.) based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Import CAD files and create CNC programs using CAM software.

Optimize nesting layouts to minimize material wastage.

Set up and adjust machine parameters (power, speed, assist gas, etc.) for different materials and thicknesses.

Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.

Maintain machine files, records, and tool libraries.

Collaborate with design and production teams to improve process efficiency.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1-2 years of experience in laser cutting programming and operation.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, Lantek, or similar).

Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and materials.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred:
Experience with fiber laser or CO₂ laser machines.

Knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance.

Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
