Production Supervisor

**Job Title: Production Supervisor**

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, leading a team of 15-20 production workers, and ensuring efficient operations in accordance with quality standards and production schedules. Your role will require strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and proficiency in stock management and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to meet production targets and customer requirements.
- **Team Leadership**: Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the production team, fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- **Technical Expertise**: Utilize your technical knowledge and expertise to understand manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and product specifications, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
- **Stock Management**: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, overseeing procurement, storage, and distribution processes to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- **CAD Knowledge**: Utilize CAD software to review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, facilitating communication between design and production teams and ensuring accurate manufacturing processes.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Conduct inspections, audits, and testing procedures to identify and resolve any quality issues.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and quality control measures. Prepare reports, analysis, and documentation to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making processes.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated proficiency in technical knowledge, leadership, and stock management.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and managerial capability, with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and mentor a team to achieve production goals and drive continuous improvement.
- **CAD Knowledge**: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to review, modify, and interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluent in Hindi, English, and Kannada languages, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- **Analytical Skills**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and implement solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
