You will be working as Production Supervisor and will be part of Motion Business Area for Traction Division based in Bangalore North, India. In this role you will be reporting to Product Manager and will be responsible in leading a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensuring continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, quality and safety standards and policies.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. Responding to resource issues as necessary
- Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line
- Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary
- Ensuring execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines
- Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance
- Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in production field from Electrical/Mechanical industry
- Good exposure in Production activities and should be flexible to work in Shifts
- Excellent communication skills
