As an Education Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students throughout their educational journey. You will provide personalized guidance, resources, and support to help students achieve their academic and career goals. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with students to assess their academic strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
- Assisting students with course selection, extracurricular activities, and career exploration.
- Developing individualized academic plans for students based on their interests, abilities, and long-term objectives.
- Connecting students with resources and support services, such as tutoring, academic workshops, and counselling programs.
- Maintaining open communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child's academic progress and address any concerns.
- Organizing workshops and informational sessions to educate students about college requirements, financial aid options, and scholarship opportunities.
- Keeping accurate records of student interactions, academic plans, and progress reports using educational software systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience in education, counselling, or student advising.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of college admissions processes and requirements.
- Familiarity with educational resources and support services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of diverse student populations.
