Designation: Indirect Material Buyer

Experience: 7-10 Years of experience in indirect purchasing from Chemical or Pharmaceautical industry

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering

Place: Umraya, Vadodara

Key responsibilities:
- The Job responsibility of this position includes complete cycle of the procurement process for Indirect material & Services:
- Receipt Of Purchase Requisition,- Understanding requirements from maintenance and Project Engineers- Generating Enquiries through Ariba,- Comparative preparation- Placement Of Purchase Order,- Final Documentations with Supplier- Resolving Queries related to Supplier Payments.- Responsibilities are to be accomplished in support of and cooperation with Internal Customers and support Service Dept like, Quality, Administration & HRM.- To implement and comply with purchasing procedures and guidelines.- To ensure cost saving in procurement process.- Vendor profile to check vendor credibility & supplier Questionnaire as per EHS requirement.- Maintain all relevant record & PO backup- Regular Vendor Performance and evaluation- New vendor code creation, SLP, MDG etc- Prepare Purchasing MIS- Should have handled Indirect materials, services.- Knowledge and experience on Ariba SAP- Analytical Thinking- Cost conscious and strong negotiator- Translate strategy into operational reality- Co-ordination with maintenance and Project Engineers, Plant head, regional purchasing team- Indirect Materials & services category Knowledge

Know-how/skills:
- Excellent command on MS office, especially MS Excel, Ariba & SAP.- Excellent Planning and organizing skills.- Good in Time management,- Good in written and oral communication.- Good Team Player.- Hard working
