Food Technologist

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the research and development team to assist in the formulation and development of new food products.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve existing food products and processes.
- Assist in conducting sensory evaluations and consumer testing to assess the quality and acceptability of food products.
- Analyze and interpret data from experiments, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, including proper documentation of processes and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in the scale-up and production of new food products, collaborating with production teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
- Monitor and evaluate the shelf life and stability of food products.
- Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and new technologies related to food technology.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, product specifications, and documentation for regulatory purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and understanding of food science principles, food chemistry, microbiology, and food processing.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in conducting experiments, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food product development and commercialization processes is preferred.
