**Key Responsibilities**
- **Quality Assurance & Control**:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct routine checks on raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and review batch records, production logs, and quality control reports.
- **Food Safety & Hygiene**:
- Ensure strict compliance with FSSAI, GMP, ISO, HACCP, and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee sanitation, personal hygiene, and factory cleanliness practices.
- Train staff on hygiene, safety, and good manufacturing practices.
- **Product Development & Improvement**:
- Assist in developing new products and improving existing ones based on market requirements.
- Work with the production team to enhance shelf life, taste, packaging, and efficiency.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
- Ensure timely preparation of regulatory documents (FSSAI, lab test reports, certifications, etc.).
- Coordinate with external labs for product testing when required.
- **Production & Process Support**:
- Support production teams in maintaining process control and minimizing deviations.
- Monitor critical control points to ensure product consistency.
- Identify areas for process optimization to reduce wastage and improve yields.
- **Audits & Inspections**:
- Conduct internal audits and prepare the factory for third-party, client, or regulatory inspections.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in case of non-compliances.
**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality management systems, and compliance standards.
- Excellent understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and FSSAI regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to train, guide, and enforce hygiene & quality standards among workers.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality production.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in food manufacturing/quality control/food safety.
- Hands-on experience with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and FSSAI standards.
