**Responsibilities**:

- Work on both Mysql and MSSQL database Administration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Should be able to work on Performance Tuning, Query Optimization,
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot Database Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Coordinate internally with Development and Support teams to resolve bugs and facilitate
- Ability to manage day to day monitoring and maintenance tasks (Backups / Restoration / Permission / etc)
- Coordinate internally with QA for Database deployments
- Work on Database Migration and Database Upgrade projects
- Should be able to extract and provide any data requests from various teams

**Required Skills**:

- Good Aptitude and reasoning skills.
- Understanding of Databases.
- Basic Database Knowledge and SQL Commands.
- Knowledge of how to setup master / slave replication over MySQL
- Basic understanding of Mysql / TSQL scripts and knowledge of different Mysql database objects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic hands-on with LInux will be an added advantage.
- Keen to work on any database technologies and acquire Cloud skills
