**Job Description: Charge Entry Specialist (2 Years Experience) - Day Shift**

**Position**: Charge Entry Specialist
**Location**: Guindy
**Shift**: Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
**Experience**: Minimum 2 years in charge entry

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately enter charges for medical services rendered by healthcare providers into the billing system.
- Review patient records and ensure that all services, procedures, and diagnoses are properly documented and matched with the correct CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Verify insurance information and confirm the appropriate billing codes for each patient.
- Ensure that charge entries are completed in a timely manner to meet billing and reimbursement deadlines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, coding specialists, and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or missing charge information.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in charge entry or healthcare billing.
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with insurance and payer-specific billing requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with electronic charge entry systems.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing practices.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or similar healthcare certification is preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
