Job Description for Middle School English Teacher (Grades 1-5):
Position: Middle School English Teacher

School: The Pride School

Location: 367, Lokmanya Nagar, Hingna Rd, behind Ram Mandir, Hinga, Nagpur, Maharashtra 440016

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's English language arts curriculum and educational standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- **Reading and Writing Instruction**:

- Instruct students in reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Foster a love for literature by introducing students to a diverse range of texts.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:

- Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
- **Individualized Support**:

- Identify and address individual learning needs through differentiation and personalized instruction.
- Collaborate with support staff and special education teachers as needed.
- **Extracurricular Engagement**:

- Encourage student participation in literary clubs, writing competitions, and other extracurricular activities.
- Organize and support relevant events such as book fairs or writing showcases.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with parents about students' academic progress and any concerns.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about best practices in middle school education and English language arts.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and workshops.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification for middle school English.
- Previous experience teaching middle school students.
- Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum standards and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
