**Job Title**: Stationery Sales Officer
**Location**: Chennai
**Department**: Sales and Marketing
**Reports To**: Area Sales Manager / Sales Head
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Promote and sell stationery products to retailers, wholesalers, schools, corporate offices, and other B2B clients in Chennai.
- Identify and onboard new customers and maintain good relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Conduct market visits to assess customer needs and competitor activities.
- Negotiate prices, close deals, and follow up on payments and deliveries.
- Ensure proper placement and visibility of products at retail outlets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports to management.
- Attend promotional activities, exhibitions, and school or office campaigns when required.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the stationery or FMCG industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of Chennai geography and local markets is essential.
**Working Conditions**:
- Field-based role requiring regular travel within Chennai.
- Must own a two-wheeler (preferred) with a valid driving license.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
