Architect - Database Product Governance and Adoption

**Responsibilities**:
Content Creation:
Internal Communication:

- Facilitate effective communication within the organization, ensuring that stake holders are informed about key developments, policies, and Success.
- Coordinate internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.

Service Catalog and Workflow Governance:

- Oversee the design and implementation of service catalogs and workflows within ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize and streamline business processes through ServiceNow workflows.

Process Standardization:

- Develop and document standardized processes for submitting, tracking, and fulfilling service requests.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Service Catalog Enhancement:

- Review and optimize the service catalog to ensure it reflects the organization's services accurately.
- Standardize service descriptions, request forms, and fulfilment workflows to enhance user understanding and streamline processes.

User Interface Design:

- Work with user experience (UX) designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface for submitting service requests.
- Standardize the look and feel of request forms to enhance usability.

Successful Ansible Implementation:

- Ensure the successful implementation and integration of Ansible playbooks and roles for various database products.
- Accountable for the automation of deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes, leading to increased operational efficiency and reduced manual interventions.

Efficient Monitoring Tool Deployment:

- Take accountability for the deployment and configuration of monitoring tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Zenoss.
- Ensure that monitoring tools are effectively capturing relevant metrics, providing real-time insights into database performance.

Documentation Accuracy and Completeness:

- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of documentation related to Ansible playbooks, monitoring tool configurations, and incident response plans.
- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and readily available for reference by team members.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

- Take responsibility for proposing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the database operations domain.
- Accountable for staying informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating relevant advancements into existing processes.

Qualifications:
**Years of Experience**
- Total: 10+ years of experience
- 4+ years experience as a User experience enhancement by Servicenow service catalogue standardization and Process standardization
- 3+ years of experience as a SPOC for communications for internal stake holders and increasing adoption of the processes
- 2+ experience in managing vendor

**Mandatory Technical Skills**
- Collaboration and Communication Tools: Proficient in using collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or others to facilitate internal communication.
- Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) to coordinate and track progress on communication projects.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating written documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Servicenow IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and more.
