Delivery Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordination with Vendors:

- Communicate with vendors in the interior design material industry, to ensure the readiness of goods for delivery on a daily basis.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of the delivery order before arranging transport.
- Transport Arrangements:

- Plan and organise the most efficient and cost-effective transport method for each delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and customs clearance are obtained for cross-border deliveries.
- Point of Contact (POC):

- Act as the primary point of contact for all communication related to the delivery process.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the transport team, clients, and vendors.
- Time-Bound Delivery:

- Implement and maintain delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to clients.
- Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions to meet committed delivery timelines.
- Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough inspections of goods before dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor and track deliveries in real-time, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations.
- Customer Service:

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to deliveries promptly.
- Offer proactive updates to clients regarding the status of their deliveries and expected delivery times.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

- Identify and troubleshoot any delivery-related challenges, taking appropriate actions to resolve them efficiently.
- Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to address recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Delivery Confirmation:

- Follow up with clients after each delivery to confirm successful receipt of goods.
- Record and maintain delivery confirmation records for future reference and reporting.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Participate in process reviews to suggest and implement improvements in the delivery process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency of delivery operations.
- Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to each delivery, including receipts, invoices, and delivery notes.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Graduation/PG in Operations,Engineering and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in using Delivery management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, order fulfilment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, transport teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deliveries simultaneously, and ensure time-bound delivery schedules are met.
- Keen eye for detail to verify delivery orders, inspect goods, and ensure accuracy in documentation and records.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns.
- Proficiency in negotiating with transport partners to secure cost-effective and reliable delivery services.
- Familiarity with the geographical area of operation to optimise route planning and minimise delivery times.
- Understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and legal requirements for different types of deliveries.
- **Proficiency in Kannada language is a must.**:

- Prior experience in delivery management within the interior design industry will be a plus but not mandatory. Freshers can also apply.

Pay: ₹340,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
