
Placement Officer

**Position Overview**:
The Placement Officer will play a pivotal role in facilitating the placement process for students by bridging the gap between students and prospective employers. The individual will be responsible for managing relationships with organizations, coordinating placement activities, and equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in their careers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Placement Coordination**:
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry leaders, companies, and recruiters to secure placement opportunities.
- Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for companies during the placement process.
- **Student Support**:
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to prepare students for placement, focusing on resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills development.
- Provide one-on-one guidance to students on career paths and job opportunities.
- **Industry Collaboration**:
- Build strong industry-academia relationships to identify placement and internship opportunities.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and requirements to align placement activities accordingly.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of placement activities, including student placement details, employer feedback, and placement statistics.
- Prepare periodic reports for stakeholders to assess placement performance.
- **Event Management**:
- Plan and execute career fairs, employer branding events, and alumni interaction sessions.
- Ensure the smooth execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment processes.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Gather feedback from recruiters and students to enhance placement processes and improve outcomes.
- Identify skill gaps among students and coordinate training programs to address them.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in placement, training, or career services roles, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software to manage placement data.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
