**Job Title**: Placement Officer

**Department**: Training & Placement Cell
**Location**: HKBK Group of Institutions, Bangalore
**Reports To**: Head of Training & Placement / Principal / Director

**Job Summary**:
The Placement Officer is responsible for facilitating training and placement activities for students, ensuring industry engagement, and enhancing the employability of students across all departments. This role involves building strong industry connections, organizing campus recruitment drives, and preparing students for interviews and job placements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain **relationships with recruiters**, industry partners, and corporate HRs.
- Organize **on-campus and off-campus placement drives**, **internships**, and **career fairs**.
- Coordinate **pre-placement training sessions** in soft skills, aptitude, resume writing, group discussions, and interviews.
- Maintain and update **student placement records**, track alumni progress, and create detailed **placement reports**.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand student strengths and match them with relevant industry opportunities.
- Plan and implement strategies to **improve placement percentage** year over year.
- Handle all **logistics and coordination** for recruitment events.
- Ensure **effective communication** between students, faculty, and employers regarding placement activities.
- Identify **industry trends** and advise curriculum enhancements to align with market needs.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in **Management / HR / Engineering / Education** or related fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in **placement coordination, corporate relations**, or **career services** (Freshers with passion and networking skills may be considered).
- Excellent **communication, presentation, and interpersonal** skills.
- Strong **networking abilities** with recruiters, industry professionals, and alumni.
- Proficient in **MS Office, CRM tools**, and social media for outreach.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
