**URGENTLY REQUIREMENT**

Urgently required Library Assistant-Facilitator at reputed government institute at Baner Pune on contract basis.

**Library Assistant Responsibilities**:
1. Helping customers locate books.

2. Helping customers find material online.

3. Checking books in and out at the front desk.

4. Sorting and shelving books according to their categorization.

5. Register new customers and maintain and update customer profiles.

6. Maintaining records of books taken out and books brought back.

7. Cataloging new arrivals.

8. Assisting customers with internet access and ensuring their technical needs are met.

9. Organizing the repair of damaged books.

10. Inspecting the condition of books before and after check-out to ascertain any damage on behalf of the customer.

12. Assisting with library events and reading sessions.

13. Managing the payment of fines.

14. Cataloging audio-visual material and other mediums.

15. Settling any disruptions or disturbances in the library.

**Library Assistant Requirements**:
1. Bachelors/Masters of Library Science degree preferred. 3+ years’ experience working in a public library.

2. Experience working with electronic databases of library materials

3. Basic computer literacy. Marathi& English typing course completed.

4. Outstanding organizational skills.

5. Attention to detail and good problem solving ability.

6. Exceptional interpersonal skills.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
