Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
**⁠ ⁠Manage the school library, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining library materials**

**⁠ ⁠Develop and implement library programs to promote literacy, research skills, and digital citizenship**

**⁠ ⁠Provide instructional support to students and teachers, including teaching information literacy skills and research strategies**

**⁠ ⁠Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum-aligned library programs and services**

**⁠ ⁠Participate in school planning, policy development, and strategic initiatives**

**⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain the school library's online presence, including the library website and social media accounts**

**⁠ ⁠Provide support for students with diverse learning needs, including English language learners and students with disabilities**

**Requirements**:
**⁠ ⁠Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or Library and Information Science (MLIS)**

**⁠ ⁠2+ years of experience working in a school library or related field**

**⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**

**⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of library collections, cataloging, and classification systems**

**⁠ ⁠Experience with digital technologies, including online databases and library software**

**⁠ ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment**

**⁠ ⁠Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion**

Preferred Qualifications:
**⁠ ⁠Experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with disabilities**

**⁠ ⁠Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in school librarianship**

**⁠ ⁠Experience with program planning, marketing, and outreach**

**⁠ ⁠Certification in library support staff or a related field**
